Richard V. Sandler is Chairman of the Board of Nextera Enterprises,
Inc. Mr. Sandler previously was Vice-Chairman of Nextera from February
2002 though December 2003. He has been a Director of the Company since
its inception. A partner in the law firm of Maron & Sandler, he has
practiced law since 1973, and specializes in real estate transactions
and general securities and business law. He has also been involved since
1983 in consulting with respect to business acquisitions. Mr. Sandler
is a member of the State Bar of California and has served on various
boards of educational and philanthropic institutions, including the Executive
Board of Heal L.A., the Executive Board of Jewish Federation Council,
the Board of Directors of Valley Beth Shalom Synagogue, Trustee of Brentwood
School, and the Board of the Foundations of the Milken Families. Mr.
Sandler received a bachelor of science degree from the University of
California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors, and his juris doctorate
degree from the UCLA School of Law.
Joseph J. Millin is President and a member of the Board of Directors of Nextera Enterprises and also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Woodridge Labs, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nextera. Mr. Millin has served as the chief executive officer and a director of Jocott Enterprises, Inc (formerly named Woodridge Labs, Inc.) since its formation in 1996, which positions he continues to hold. He is also a founder, chief executive officer and director of Valor Marketing, Inc.
Antonio Rodriquez is the Chief Financial Officer and joined the company on January 31, 2007. Mr. Rodriquez formerly served as Chief Accounting Officer for Capstone Turbine Corp., a publicly traded producer of low-emission microturbine systems, where he managed all aspects of the accounting, finance and legal departments, including all SEC compliance. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Rodriquez served as Vice President of Finance for ValueClick, Inc., a publicly-traded internet media and technology firm, where, among other things, he managed due diligence and integration of acquisitions of both public and private companies, as well as managing the accounting department, budgeting and forecasting, and SEC reporting. Before joining ValueClick, Inc., Mr. Rodriquez served as a Senior Manager in the Assurance Practice of the Manufacturing, Retailing and Distribution line of business at KPMG, LLP, where he served publicly-traded manufacturing clients as well as large and middle-market privately-held manufacturing clients. In addition to his audit client responsibilities, Mr. Rodriquez served as a national KPMG Instructor for KPMG’s Business Measurement Process audit methodology, focusing on business strategies, risks and processes. Mr. Rodriquez graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Scott J. Weiss serves as the chief financial officer of Woodridge Labs, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nextera , and is a member of the Board of Directors of Nextera Enterprises . Weiss has served as the chief financial officer, secretary and a director of Jocott Enterprises, Inc (formerly named Woodridge Labs, Inc.) since its formation in 1996, which positions he continues to hold. Mr. Weiss is a licensed certified public accountant and is the president and director of Weiss Accountancy Corporation, and chief financial officer of VDA Management Services, Inc. Mr Weiss also serves as an officer, director or general partner of manager of 4400 Coldwater, Inc., 12700 Investments, Inc., 14140 Investments, Inc., Lynbrook Investments, Inc., Valencia Sherman, LLC, BCA Investments, LLC, BCA Licensing, Inc., Smart Move, Inc., Tuscany Collection, LLC, Partridge Court Investments, LLC, Sierra Log Homes (a California corporation), and Los Angeles Jewish Homes for the Aging.
Robin Deyo is the Corporate Controller of Nextera Enterprises, Inc. and has been with the Company since March 2007. Prior to joining the Company, she was the Interim Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller of Capstone Turbine Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer of low-emission microturbine systems. During her 11 years at Capstone, Ms. Deyo held various positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to Capstone, Ms. Deyo was in the external audit practice of the Entrepreneurial Services group at Ernst & Young LLP. Ms. Deyo is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the AICPA.
